Advocacy

Integration is not welfare sought for PwDs, but a fundamental right in their communities in various aspects of life, and is affirmed in the international conventions on the rights of persons with disabilities. SANAD believes that the best advocates for people with disabilities are people with disabilities themselves because they are the best to express their needs, problems and challenges.

Program Philosophy

The advocacy philosophy of SANAD is based on the rehabilitation and empowerment of persons with disabilities, training them on advocacy tools and the international conventions and treaties on the rights of persons with disabilities, affording them the proper environment, and helping them reach decision-makers to defend and demand their rights.
