Program Philosophy

Support for the livelihoods program is a special priority. This program helps stabilize people with psychological and social disabilities and supports the economic independence of people with disabilities rather than being dependent on others as consumers and a source of compassion and compassion. As the process of rehabilitation and empowerment of people with disabilities is a continuing process, SANAD focuses, in its programs, on:

  • Vocational rehabilitation
  • Small grants
  • Capacity building
  • Vocational direction
  • Psychosocial support
  • Family support

Livelihood program aims to achieve economic efficiency by working, engaging in a profession or a job, and continuing with it. This process also includes follow-up with the beneficiaries.

Program Philosophy

The philosophy of SANAD is to accept the person with special needs as a human being with his own personality and dignity. He/she has human and political rights and needs, and we should help him to adapt and integrate into society, and benefit from the physical, mental, social and professional skills, and help the disabled to achieve their self-esteem and regain their self-confidence, in order to practice their legitimate rights, particularly by having access to work commensurate with their preparations and potentials.

Program Goals

  • Achieving economic empowerment for people with special needs
  • Social integration of persons with disabilities
  • To create and harmonize the local economic environment as a supportive and enabling environment for the empowerment of persons with disabilities.
