The most prominent challenge facing Syrians with special needs and prevents them from accessing the free services provided by the Turkish government is the Temporary Protection Card (Kimlik).

After Sanad spotted the problem, it started to communicate with the concerned authorities to study the possibility of extraction Temporary Protection Card for people with special needs without standing in queues because of their health condition. As a result, the Immigration Service responded to the requirement of Sanad. It collaborated with Sanad in offered around 360 Temporary Protection Card (kimlik) for people with special needs and their families. Sanad has ensured transportation costs and the Immigration Service has announced its readiness to cooperate when similar cases exist.
