Farida is a child with motor disabilities and uses a wheelchair. When Sanad’s team discovered her case, they visited her home, and her mother spoke about Farida’s poor psychological condition and lack of communication with others. Speaking to Farida, she said that “every day my brothers go to school in the morning, but I stay at home and I wish I could go to school like them.”
Farida today has learned to read, write and to make some handicrafts. She seeks to develop herself further. She has become socially interactive with her family and relatives, and she has new friends. She’s hoping she’ll keep up at the center.
